Another question

As long as your in the answering mood Mike I have a few more questions for ya. 

1.  Now that two chapter board members have left when are their positions going to be filled?  (I won't ask you why they left because that is something that they would need to answer themselves.)

2.  How come you do not come to a rollcall at one of the districts once in awhile and speak with the deputies like I read about the TPD union guys doing?

3.  How come you do not think outside the box to get your message out?  An example of this would be the meetings that were held at a resturant by the office supporters to get their point accross.  Remember, you need to recruit the non-members in the represented body to your cause in order to succeed.

The vacant board positions will be discussed at our monthly Chapter meeting which is Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. 02-05-08.  The meeting will be held at the PBA office 412 E. Madison St. Tampa.

I would love to attend roll calls but the Sheriff’s Office will not allow me to.  We are banned from putting information in member’s mailboxes.  Our bulletin boards are censored.  Every time we send out mass emails it is a one time shot because the address we send from gets blocked by the Sheriff’s Office.  They even refused to allow us to have a court reporter in the room during negotiations.  The Sheriff’s Office does everything possible to prevent us from getting our information out.

As for thinking outside the box I think the youtube video fits that description.  We also did the bulk email.  We have had meetings at restaurants and at people’s houses around the county.  I am certainly open to any other suggestions for getting the word out.
